Yuri on the Chalkboard Week 36: See You Next Fall!

It’s been forever since I last did one of these drawings. Because of various unforeseen circumstances I haven’t been able to draw Yuri Chalk for 6 weeks in a row. I didn’t want to end the semester without making one last drawing so I did this during my last opportunity. To make up for it I had to have multiple girls relationships in this image so going with the biggest yuri harem I good think of I choose to go with Touhou’s Marisa and company. I couldn’t find a good image with all the main girls in her harem so I had to combine 2 together.

That’s my last Yuri Chalk for the semester. I hope everyone enjoyed this somewhat protracted season of Yuri Chalk. Look forward in a few months for the last school year of Yuri on the Chalkboard. I’ll make sure to get all those series that I’ve been meaning to do done. See you next fall!

Yuri on the Chalkboard Week 35

I’ve been meaning to do this for a while so this week I’ve finally done Yuri Chalk of Rosario to Vampire. Despite the anime to be not that great Shirayuki Mizore happens to be one of my favorite characters ever. Anyway for this drawing she’s sharing a nice embrace (and lollipop) with friend Kurono Kurumu. Too bad I couldn’t get their legs wrapped around each other. I heard they also end up kissing in the manga but I can’t be bothered to read it anytime soon. Original pic below as always:

If I hadn’t already done so I would have done Pokemon this week since I’ve been obsessing about HeartGold all week. Anyway look forward to next week!

This week’s Yuri Chalk is brought to you by Citrus. Citrus got me to watch Gundam Unicorn with him which was pretty awesome which was partly due to the inclusion of a Puru clone in this one. To clarify things a bit I use Purus or Char as my pilots of choice in Dynasty Warriors Gundam so you can probably see where my excitement over seeing Marida Kruz came from. Original image below:

Somehow me and Citrus ended up talking about .hack// yesterday which reminded me that I should finally get around to doing Yuri Chalk of it. I was reminded of how the finale of SIGN had a canon yuri end when Mariko and An known in-game as Subaru and Tsukasa respectively met offline. It was kind of interesting how well the romance between the two transitioned from the game to the real world. To reflect that I had the characters’ online avatars pictured also right behind them. Yuri on the Chalkboard Week 32

After various weather-related delays Yuri Chalk makes its comeback. I was talking to a friend about random things the other day and somehow we got on the subject of Saki so this week I finally decided to draw some Saki yuri. I honestly wasn’t sure which pair to do since my favorite couple is Momoko and Kajiki. Hisa x Mihoko is also a good couple but ultimately I decided to go neutral and do the main pairing Saki x Nodoka. I love Saki so much I really wish there was more of it right now. Anyway original official illustration below:

I hope GONZO stays in business long enough to make Saki 2. I need to watch the nationals and Saki vs Teru!

Another semester means another session of my weekly Yuri on the Chalkboard. To starts things off I decided to go with my favorite idol from iDOLM@STER Dearly Stars Mizutani Eri and her friend Cyneria. Honestly I sort of expected this sort of pairing but I have no clue if it has even the slightest basis in canon. Actually I posted this to remind myself to get back to playing the game. I really want to finish it but other games keep getting in the way. Usually they’re multiplayer games that are harder to get away from since I have friends wanting me to play together with them. Anyway here’s the original picture:

Yuri on the Chalkboard Week 30

This week is the last chalkboard yuri for the year. For the very final one of 2009 I decided to do Hikari (Dawn) and Shirona (Cynthia) from Pokémon. I stumbled upon this pair earlier today and I don’t really know what to say. There’s no actual basis for this relationship that I know of but for some reason it just works. It also happens that Cynthia is my favorite Elite Four Champion and Dawn is one of my favorite main characters. Original image below:

Yuri on the Chalkboard Week 29

It took me a while but I finally decided to do Mai-Otome for this week’s chalkboard yuri. From a technical standpoint it may not be perfect but during its initial airing there was no other show that entertained me as much which is surprising since a lot of my other favorites also aired at the same time. It still stands as one of my favorite series ever and at the time was the inspiration for some of my own original Otome design drawings. I remember staying up late for the two part finale which was an amazing amount of fun since it had basically everything I wanted.

I’ve been waiting to do this forever but finally I get to post Tales of Vesperia on the chalkboard. I’ve been holding off to do that until I beat the game and yesterday I did just that. I really enjoyed the game especially the pairing between Estelle and Rita. I’m currently writing about my experience with the game but for now enjoy Estelle x Rita with a hint of Judith. Lately me and some friends have been playing Xenosaga which just happens to be one of my favorite “movie” series ever. Of course my favorite character is KOS-MOS and I love the development of her character throughout the series especially her endearing loyalty to Shion. Original image below per usual:

Incidentally it’s come to my attention that certain people seem to have some problem with my art which all I have to say is screw you. No one is harmed or troubled because of what I do and in fact it is quite the opposite. Considering that the people who actually see it in real life are some of the nerdiest people in a rather nerdy academic institution it’s needless to say everyone enjoys it. The professor even loved it and it provides a nice cure for stressed out students during test times. Anyways I’m continuing on as usual for the enjoyment of all my fans.
