Doujin developer fly-system has released a new trailer for their mahou shoujo crossover Magical Battle Arena. Unlike their previous videos which only featured Takamachi Nanoha and Lina Inverse, the new trailer has footage featuring all 8 known characters.
I was looking forward to seeing Fate Testarossa and Kinomoto Sakura’s attacks most but the most interesting characters in the video are the two originals. Kirara uses two glove-mounted dual blades for an interesting way of fighting. Sarara probably has the coolest weapon, a bow with a dozen bits. With 13 beams firing simultaneously, her super-mode special is quite something to look at. I really can’t wait for the full release so I can play as her.
If you haven’t played the game demo yet, you can download it directly on the official download page.
According to Kagikko Blog, Dengeki G’s and Dengeki HIME magazines will come packaged with Little Busters! “Ecstasy Figures” starting with their August issues and continuing for two additional issues. Unlike the SOLID WORKS line of trading figures, the girls are sporting…well, not that much. Let’s let the photos do the talking (photos from Dengeki G’s online).
I am normally not the type to comment on individual episodes but after watching episode 9 of Code Geass R2, I have to say that Zero is on his way to making a fine loli harem (as if his isn’t big enough). Possibe Code Geass R2 episode 9 spoilers to follow.

Though it took longer than expected, I have Sofiya’s revised path draft posted like I previously promised. The reason it took so long was because I added a ton more scenes since the last version and ended up adding some but not all of the main branching paths. I also had to change the second half a bit since the circumstances have changed since my first draft.
The original was structured as two main parts to flesh out two characters, one being an awesome, underutilized character and the other being an original one created by me whose path at the time was dead. The first half had Hikari as its main support character while the second half’s would be Canan. But since Citrus joined and resurrected the third path with Canan and Exam as the leads, I revised my draft to focus less on Canan. In the end, I ended up making this more of a Sofiya/Hikari story with a little Canan for added flair than just a Sofiya-focused one. Anyways, be prepared for an extremely long post.

I didn’t realize until about a week ago that I was on AnimeBlogger.net Antenna so Welcome Everybody who has come to visit my little site. It wasn’t a complete surprise since I did submit my feed to Antenna but I thought I was not accepted. Anyways, I’m glad to be a part of the larger anime blogger community and will try my best to provide engaging content for my new readers as well as my loyal supporters.
That said, I still have past responsibilities to keep so the rest of the post will be devoted to The Imperium Project, a game development project at the University of Virginia. For those new to Lyrical Spark!, my prior work on the game can be found here. Technically this was due Sunday but I didn’t want to post it without any new art so I waited a couple of days. Once everyone is caught up, let’s get started!
