With the summer anime season only a week away I finally got around to compiling a list of shows that I will watch or might watch. For whatever reason I may end up following more series than I have the past couple of seasons so the list is a little big this time. Here’s the insert song played in episode 10 of K-ON!! during the wedding reception. It’s by Sawa-chan-sensei’s former high school band DEATH DEVIL and she’s the lead singer. I guess because it’s so fast it’s pretty fun to sing. At the same time though I can sort of see why Sawa-chan-sensei goes out of her way to hide her past. Anyway I hope this turned out okay. The second season of To Aru Majutsu no Index was announced in the latest issue of Dengeki Daioh magazine. Everyone knew it was coming eventually given Index’s finale and the success of Index and Railgun but still I’m glad to finally hear an official confirmation. Hopefully this means it will be airing relatively soon perhaps after J.C. Staff gets around to Shana III. I prefer Railgun to Index thanks to more screentime for a certain perverted teleporter so I pray for Railgun 2 as well. Even more than that I would have liked to see the following announced as improbable as it would be:
Imagine having each season of “To Aru ___ no ___” being a spinoff of the last with a new primary set of characters, diverging plot, etc. That would be such a great, amusing and novel idea though it probably won’t ever happen. Anyway I’ll be looking forward to another visit to Academy City.

It’s a little later than usual but here are translations for one of the two insert songs played in episode 10. The other song hasn’t been released yet. Anyway I’ll be doing the other two songs on the Little Braver single later even though I doubt they’ll be played in any subsequent episodes considering what happened in episode 10. For now have fun with this!

Here are the lyrics for the insert song which Mio sings during her fanclub appreciation tea party in K-ON!! episode 7. The lyrics are pretty simple and cute. It’s about a shy person who has trouble expressing her affection to the person she likes. She can only watch and whenever she has the chance to confess she just ends up running away. It really suits Mio, doesn’t it? Anyway translation below like always. I’ll do the school anthem at some point too. Enjoy!

In the July issue of Comic GUM Konno Azure’s manga Koe de Oshigoto! was revealed to get an anime adaptation with the details to be announced in the next issue. The manga follows Aoyagi Kanna who through some strange circumstances is asked to work as an erotic game voice actress at her 28 year-old sister’s eroge company. It’s one of the few manga I actually read so I’m really looking forward to this. It just seems right for it to be an anime especially since it focuses on voice acting. I can’t wait to find out more details later. Most importantly I wonder who will be voice-acting Kanna? It’d be interesting if she was voiced by a pro eroge seiyuu or at least by someone who admits to doing such work. I guess it’s time for me to do a little catch up.

Here is the ending song of Angel Beats! Tada Aoi’s pleasant voice helps Brave Song edge out My Soul, Your Beats! as my favorite of the two theme songs. I hope to hear more songs from her in the future. Enjoy the transliteration and translation below!

I didn’t mean to do this single today but I found a copy of it so I here are the lyrics a little early. Lia is such an amazing singer. I hope they release the LiSA AKA Yui version on the next single (so that I have one less song to do). The ED translation is coming soon but have fun with this for the time being.
