[Lyrics] Amagami SS Character Song – Kaze ni Fukarete [Tanamachi Kaoru (CV: Satou Rina)]
It’s been a few months since the last Amagami song translation but I finally have an update. Because of the holiday season and the fact that the sequel SS+ plus will be airing next month, I wanted to release the remaining songs made for the anime at a rate of one song per day for the next twelve days. Today’s release is the second song from Kaoru’s Kitto Ashita wa… single Kaze ni Fukarete which translates to Blowin’ in the Wind. Please enjoy and look forward to tomorrow’s release!

[ques Q] “Seven-Colored Puppeteer” Alice Margatroid DX type Figure
I hadn’t heard about the company ques Q until I saw this article on moeyo earlier in the year but I took notice immediately. As soon as I gazed upon the beautifully rendered Alice resin kit I knew I had to get the PVC version. I’m really glad I preordered as soon as it was available on amiami because now it’s sold out in many places and going for some insane asking prices at auction.

[Lyrics] Muv-Luv Unlimited ED – Haruka Naru Furusato no Uta [Kuribayashi Minami]
Here’s a request made by dc1293. I just recently finished reading the main Muv-Luv trilogy so as a huge fan I wanted to make this as true to the ending sequence of Unlimited as possible. It’s a really heartrending song especially once you know how Unlimited ends. The lyrics themselves actually kinda count as a spoiler so I’d advise against reading the translation unless you’ve played the game already. Anyway I hope you enjoy Song of a Distant Homeworld (The Songs of Distant Earth like Arthur C. Clarke’s story works too).

Fall 2011 Anime Watch List
The next season looks to be a big one with many sequels as well as new material with potential. I tried to hold back but even still I have several shows I’ll be following with at least a dozen full-length TV series and one short-episode series not to mention a handful of TV shows that may sneak their way into my following list. Anime are sorted within their respective categories roughly by my general interest levels. Well onto the list!

I’ve been working on this for a while and truthfully it’s given me a fair bit of trouble but hopefully this turned out decently regardless thanks to much toil. One of my biggest problems was dealing with the repeated lines so it may seem a little weird at points. I hope this is satisfactory.

[Lyrics] Hayate no Gotoku! Movie: HEAVEN IS A PLACE ON EARTH OP – Bokura, Kakeyuku Sora he [Suirenji Ruka (CV: Yamazaki Haruka)]
This song came out along with the movie theme song but strangely enough I have not been able to find it anywhere except on the usual video sites. As such my translation is based off of the lyrics I have found online which all seem to be in agreement with one another but like always I will update this if need be. As before with the theme song, I tried to stay consistent with the material by translating “hayate no gotoku” as “like a gust of wind.” That is all. Have fun with this song until the movie comes out on disk whenever that may be.

[Lyrics] Hayate no Gotoku! Movie: HEAVEN IS A PLACE ON EARTH Theme Song – Heaven is a Place on Earth [fripSide]
It’s still a while until the Hayate no Gotoku movie has its home release but until then we have the music to tide us over. I have just a single minor translation note in the form of an alternate line. I was thinking of translating “風切る疾風のごとく!” as “Slicing through the wind like a gale” but opted to use “gust of wind” since I believe that is the most commonly known/official translation of “Hayate no Gotoku.” Please correct me if I am mistaken. Please enjoy.
