After canceling last week’s showing due to football, I have finally done the job I was elected to do; take several hours out of my weekend to show club members anime. This will be my second year doing this job even though this has only been my second year attending college. Actually I sort of created the position myself when I volunteered to administer showings myself since none of the real officers did it last year. It also gave me an excuse to not become a hikikomori. Anyways, enough rambling and on to the real news.

As anyone who has been following my game-dev project status can guess, I have been particularly busy this week with my deadline last Sunday and my upcoming one this Sunday. 八神家だんご家族

This past Sunday night while trying not to fall asleep finishing my sakubun writing assignment, I did the usual thing for this kind of situation and started lurking on /a/. Luckily, I found a mildly amusing thread in which Anons would post their ideal families if they consisted of anime characters. The amusing and often ridiculous combinations people came up with got myself thinking, “what would my idealized animu family look like?” After much deliberation, I present my picks for my perfect family.

Ink Flash CardsLooks like I’ve made it to my third post of the week. I hope people actually read my previous posts since I churn out so many so quickly. Anyways, this time it looks like I’ll be talking about normal stuff (or maybe not). I don’t really have a set way of studying. For vocab, I just look at the list and memorize them and it seems to work pretty well. For chapter 2, I experimented with flash cards, but not ordinary flashcards. I own a tablet PC and one of the cool programs designed specifically for tablet PC’s is Ink Flash Cards. Basically, you write on the screen to make flashcards instead of using traditional pen and paper. I didn’t really use it much for chapter 2 though but I’ll probably make use of it more in chapter 3 and beyond since we will be learning Kanji but then again I also have a set of physical Kanji cards so I will see how it goes.
