Now that iDOLM@STER 2 is out, my motivation to translate songs has resurfaced! The single came out on the 9th with 6 different vocal renditions plus the karaoke track. 7 versions! I think my favorite though is the Yukiho / Mami / Yayoi trio. I’ve included the usual suite of lyrics options. Of note is that I changed the translation slightly from the short edit featured in-game and in the PVs which I think improves the quality a little. Also I didn’t have a scan of the lyrics like normal and used what I found online. If there are any discrepancies between the version I found online and the booklet lyrics, I’ll fix them when I can. Anyway enjoy the music!

It’s taken us quite a while but Aorii and I once again present our initial impressions of the shows we have picked up for this season. I think this is the first time we’ve watched the exact same shows. The order of our lists is basically the same although we have Fractale and Gosick reversed in our respective versions. This is mainly due to our own particular genre preferences. Anyway enough talk. Let’s go down the list!

Ever since New Year’s Eve I’ve been playing the doujin games Touhou Pocket Wars Evolution and its expansion Evolution Plus. I found out about them pretty randomly when I stumbled upon some recent updates on the Touhou Wiki. I thought the art looked nice and before I knew it I was spending way too much time playing the game that I sort of neglected everything else.

Another year has passed and with it another year of blogging has been added to the archives. I want to take this opportunity to reflect on how my blogging and other otaku-related activities have gone over the last year as well as layout my plans for the rest of this year. Looking ahead towards the new season only a week away, it looks as if there won’t be quite as many series that I’ll be following in comparison to this fall. However maybe that’s a good thing considering how I almost died trying to keep up since I’m a stubborn masochist unwilling to drop series. I won’t mention names (check my Twitter for those) but I don’t feel like going derp that much again for a while. Anyway back to the topic on hand, the winter season seems to have at least a couple of guaranteed hits for me as well as a handful of promising shows. Continuing the habit we started last season, we (Aorii [Major Arcana] and Honya [Lyrical Spark]) will be presenting joint preview posts yet again!
PS: I haven’t included anything that will air before January.
