Exactly two years ago I posted “my ideal family” if it were to consist of anime, manga and game characters. Basically the idea came to me when I stumbled on an amazing thread randomly in which people would post a list of characters to form a family. Think of Kyouran Kazoku Nikki and that’s pretty much the basic premise. I found the idea so amusing that I started seriously thinking about it and after some major contemplation I posted my list a few days later. Suddenly two years have passed and I’ve finally gotten around to updating my family roster. I’ve been planning to redo it for a while since I have an even bigger “gene pool” from which to select family members from. The list is divided into the family I grew up with and the family I raise as an adult. Continue on for some strange shenanigans.

Wonder Wind is an interesting departure from the first season’s two openings. When I watched the first episode of 2nd season I initially wondered if it really was Hayate no Gotoku or not. However it really is a wonderful song. I’ve once again included an English translation and just in case you are wondering I used Eclipse’s translation as reference. I really should stop using “wonder” in every sentence.

With a little less than a month left until the official start of the spring season, I felt it was time to finally compile my anime watch list. Compared to this season it looks like I will be viewing more new anime but that won’t be a problem since several series from the fall and winter seasons that I am keeping track of will end in the following weeks. Anyways, onto my choices:

With this year’s SaiMoe tournament at an end, it looks as if Kagami is the superior Hiiragi twin. Although I am happy that Kagami beat Tsukasa I am a little bit disappointed with this year’s event as a whole. For one the top eight consisted of characters from only a total of 4 series; CLANNAD (3), Lucky Star (2), Bamboo Blade (2), and Hayate no Gotoku. Don’t get me wrong as I like all these series but some variety would have been nice like in 2006 when there were 8 series represented.

Hello, contrary to what some people maybe thinking, I am not dead yet and will post a “real update” later. For now, I will write this week’s post for class so I will commence Japanese now:

みなさんこんばんわ。はる休みにあまり休まないから、三月五日から今まで今週何もしてあまりブログエントリーを書かなかったね。本当にごめん。

今週の日本語のクラスのトッピクは「今学期のもくひょうとしょうらいのもくひょう」だ。クラスブログで先生はみなさんに「おなじもくひょうを持っていますか」と聞いた。今ぼくのこたえを書く。今学期は先学期よりむずかしいと思うからたくさんべんきょうするのは今学期のもくひょうになった。でもしょうらいのはおなじだ。いしゃになるつもりで、ひまな時にビジュアルノベルもアニソングもえいごにやくすつもりだ。

えと何も書くのは知らないからまたね。

I suppose I should make a list of my interests so that everyone can get to know me (or at least my internet persona) better. As you can probably tell, I love anime/manga as well as video games. I also like Japanese dorama　(although I have not watched much) and Japanese music. In addition I LOVE the internet and drawing.
