For the past three weeks or so I’ve been on some sort of anime watching rampage. I think it may have to do with the fact that I haven’t had to much work until recently so I spent the time goofing off. Instead of going to sleep like I really should do I always end up watching anime whenever I have spare time. Like I had suspected when I looked at the winter lineup I’m not actually watching much new anime so instead I’ve been making good on my promise of finally catching up on some anime. I also have the habit of picking up new series for me to marathon during exam times though thankfully I haven’t quite done that yet. Hopefully that will remain true until after I survive this week’s three exams.

After something like over 2 weeks since the release of Firefox 3.6 I finally got around to upgrading. If it weren’t for a friend telling me I wouldn’t have known since Firefox never did notify me that an update was available. Anyway the big thing with this update is the introduction of Personas which are kind of like themes. Of course the first thing I did after the update was to search for some otaku-related ones on the Personas for Firefox site. There are a decent number available but most of them are not that great. I also wish people tagged their personas better so that I can actually search the database easier. Of the ones I stumbled upon I found a dozen decent ones to use.

Epic Anime Season is Epic. Fall season will be starting in just a few days time and it is looking to be one of the best in recent memory. With shows like CLANNAD: After Story and Gundam 00 Second Season, this coming season looks like it will be Fall 2007 remix version 2.0. There are also plenty of new shows like ChaoS;Head that have plenty of potential to be awesome. I tried to narrow my watch list down but given the sheer amount of WIN, it was near impossible.

As the title says, just finished watching the four-and-a-half minute trailer and once again I’m really excited about it. The first two minutes or so are essentially just recaps of Jigoku Shoujo and Futakomori with various shots from the series including spoilers of the ends. Midway through we get a fuzzy screen with the word shikashi (however) followed by text being typed (which I can’t completely read).

According to Moon Phase, a third series of Jigoku Shoujo has been given the go for production. The announcement was made on the mobile version of the Jigoku Tsuushin website. Apparently, Enma Ai will make a comeback with new powers. Although I like the idea that Enma Ai will be returning, it bothers me how they will explain that given the end of Futakomori which suggests that:
*spoiler* Jigoku Tsuushin will continue to exist without Enma Ai. *spoiler*
Oh well, I’ll wait and see. Hopefully, the third series will live up to the first two.

Once again its seems that I could not help but try to lighten my anime backlog so I ended up having a second Thanksgiving Marathon and watching the rest of Jigoku Shoujo Futakomori. Futakomori is the the follow up to the original Jigoku Shoujo and once again follows Enma Ai and the rest of Jigoku Tsuushin. Each episode follows the suffering of an individual from the beginning of the hatred to the point where they can no longer tolerate it and resort to accessing Jigoku Tsuushin. Each story is different and accurately showcases the boundlessness of human hatred and cruelty in the form of bullying, extortion, domestic violence, rape, torture, murder, and whatever else I have neglected to mention.

I suppose I should make a list of my interests so that everyone can get to know me (or at least my internet persona) better. As you can probably tell, I love anime/manga as well as video games. I also like Japanese dorama (although I have not watched much) and Japanese music. In addition I LOVE the internet and drawing.
