私はフィリピンのイロコス・ノルテ州のバタックで生まれました。バタックは小さくて、五万人ごろの人が住んでいる町だけど、フィリピンで本当に特別で有名な所です。そこでフィリピン歴史の大事なヒーローがたくさん生まれましたから、フィリピン人はバタックに「傑士の出身」と呼びます。たとえばフィリピン・インディペンデント・チャーチのグレゴリオ・アグリパイ師やフィリピン軍隊の父のアーテミオ・リカート大将はバタックから来ました。

日本語を勉強している理由
子供の時日本に住んでいたので、昔から日本文化にきょうみがあって、日本語を学びたかったです。でもアメリカ人のアパートに住んでいましたから、日本語をぜんぜんならいませんでした。あまり分からなかったけど、あそこで子供のアニメを見たり、日本のおんがくを聞いたりしましたから、日本文化が大好きになりました。
