End of Exams
Well, I did it. I’ve finished my final exams and have officially survived my first year as a college student! Yay!
Now I can look forward to a summer full of Super Smash Bros. and Gunpla.
The only trouble is related directly to this blog. In the next 24 hours, posting will become more difficult for me as I transition from the high-speed Internet here at UVA to the 56k dial-up that I have to put up with at home. I’ll probably have to drop some things here and there and cut back on screencaps, but I plan to keep Taishou up to date no matter what, so stick with me!
Also, congratulations to all the other college students out there finishing their exams! Have a great summer!

Lyrical Spark Redesign in Progress
Despite it being Exam time, I find myself with unusual amounts of free time so I have been posting a lot recently; this is my sixth one in seven days. Anyways, I’ve been pretty bored lately so I decided to play around with some of the encoding which led to as Citrus put it, my blog exploding. After correcting that fiasco by foregoing the study time I probably should have been doing, I decided to just mess with the theme code and nothing else.

Nico Nico Douga Ryuuseigun
Today was originally supposed to be another study day but like always, things don’t go JUST AS PLANNED. Yesterday, I went with some friends to go see Iron Man which was a pretty good film. It was relatively late when we got back so I being the nice guy I am ended up walking one of the girls home since she doesn’t live near anyone else (including myself). I didn’t expect it to take too long but I ended talking for quite a bit with Niki so by the time I got back, it was somewhere around 11:30 (insert visual novel joke here). Then I took care of the normal internet business so it’s no surprise I didn’t wake up until 2 today.

Anyways, that’s enough rambling. I spent much of the afternoon transcribing lyrics for “Nico Nico Douga Ryuuseigun.” I based mine off dawnbringerz’s version and modified it by using the karaoke from Nico Nico. It’s a very fun song to sing but unfortunately, it’s kind of hard to sing with allergies. Anyways, please enjoy singing! I’ll record and post my version when I’m back home after exams.

Kanokon, Episode 04
I’m getting around to this episode a little late – in fact, Kanokon’s latest episode has already aired in Japan as I write this – but it took a while for Ayako to release fansubbed torrent links, and then some final exams hit me.
Seriously. I know you think I was being lazy, but college can be pretty harsh sometimes. It was totally out of my control. Besides, ecchi is just as good a few days later as it is fresh from Japan! So let’s cut to the chase.

Touhou 11 Chireiten Subterranean Animism
As if the new Scarlet Weather Rhapsody demo wasn’t enough, Zun announced yesterday Touhou 11 Chireiten Subterranean Animism (東方地霊殿 ～ Subterranean Animism) which I almost missed because of the crazy blog nonsense that I went through last night. Anyways, I hope pKjd‘s guess is right that it will be released at Comiket 74. Even if it’s off, the demo that will be released at Reitaisai on the 25th will be enough to keep me busy.
