I’m the lesser member of Lyrical Spark! and mostly just add bonus commentary to Honya’s articles instead of writing my own posts. It’s not that I don’t have anything to say – it’s because my sporadic work ethic and naturally laid-back attitude make it hard for me to motivate myself to even do my homework or study, much less blog legitimately. It’s probably a miracle I’ve made it this far in life.

I’m in my third year of study as an English major/Astronomy minor at the University of Virginia, pursuing my longtime goal of becoming a Great Teacher in the mold of Eikichi Onizuka – at least, as much as that’s possible. For some reason or another I’m also the president of CAINE, my university’s comics and animation club.

I love to watch mecha anime more than anything else. I wish I could sleep all day and dream of piloting the Gundam.

Why Citrus? And what are you doing on Lyrical☆Spark!?

Citrus is a handle I picked up in high school. I just happen to really really like orange-flavored foods (and tangy citrus flavors in general). My friends noticed this and nicknamed me “Citrus Lord,” which I later shortened to just Citrus.

The title Lyrical☆Spark! has little to do with me, since I know little of Touhou and I’m not nearly as much of a Nanoha fan as Honya. But Honya and I are partners in crime in real life despite our different interests, so I asked her to let me post here and add my own variety from time to time. It’s her blog – I just mess with it sometimes.

Maybe one day I can get her to make a Gundam banner, though.
